From Music Icons to Award-Winning Original Artists and International Films, Kevy G thrives in entertaining as a soloist, accompanying original artists and playing in brilliant bands.
He has had the privilege of working with international Grammy Award-winning icons Jennifer Hudson, known for her debut performance in the film “Dreamgirls”, and Brian McFadden, from Irish boy band Westlife. Kevy G also formed part of the soundtrack house band in the movie “Blended” while playing for Terry Crews, which stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
Keeping it local, Kevy was also the keyboardist for the sensational hip hop act KoldproduK, as well as influential South African hip-hop giant, Zubz The Last Letta – a legend of lyrical wizardry. Let alone, he’s accompanied many famous SAMA nominated singer-songwriter artists: Jacques Terre'Blanche, Garth Taylor, André Schwartz, Melanie Lowe, Lindiwe Maxolo and Xavier Saer.
Kevin is a multi-talented maestro, who from a young age found his musical passion and followed his muse. Today, he’s a highly versatile, gifted performer; uniquely serving the music with accomplished tastefulness, great energy and understated flair.

Kevin’s performance alter ego is Kevy G – a stage name coined as a teenager when his career began in Johannesburg, South Africa – and Kevy G’s done what he was born to do. Always bringing a fresh aesthetic appeal to music with consummate skill, in creating a beautifully distinctive sound.
In many ways, Kevy G embodies Kevin’s passion for performance. His musical multi-dimensionality easily straddles a vast variety of genres, diverse band styles, sizes and formats.
